Human Proportion

this will be discussed in the next class meeting. I suggest to take a few minutes to research the proportions of a figure on your own, online so that you will have at least a basic understanding before class. Make some notes for yourself.

***google "human proportion" and you will find a lot of useful illustrations and articles to get you started***

This website is good.

And, so is this one.

The eight-heads-high model is easiest to lay out on the the page and remember. Be aware that this is an ideal, a starting point. It needs to be adjusted to fit the model from which you are drawing.
